DRYLAND TRAINING

This is a free program that we offer to help our athletes increase strength, balance and agility to help them build a stronger foundation for the upcoming season. The planned activities will incorporate hiking in our Edmonton and area river valley ravine system on single track trails, stairs and bridges. Using natural features in our ravine and park systems for balance and agility work. Recognizing that ski racing may be an individually judged sport the focus will always be on the athletes learning to develop a team concept. This program runs September until mid November when we transition to our on hill training.
